Terms of Service
Last updated September 23, 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses myhoamsph — residents, HOA board members and admins, and anyone who registers. By signing in or registering, you agree to them.
The service
myhoamsph is an online portal that homeowners' associations (HOAs) use to manage dues, payments, maintenance requests, reservations, announcements, and documents. Each community's portal is run by its HOA; myhoamsph provides the software and hosting.
Your account
- Accounts are created or approved by your HOA. You must be at least 18 and connected to the community — as an owner, tenant, or officer.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us or your HOA right away if you think someone else has used it.
- Your HOA may change your role or remove your access, for example when you move out.
Dues and payments
Dues, fees, penalties, and payment rules are set by your HOA, not by myhoamsph. You pay your HOA directly through the channels it accepts; myhoamsph only records payments and is not a party to them. Questions or disputes about amounts owed, confirmations, or refunds should be raised with your HOA. A payment is settled once your HOA confirms it.
For HOA boards and admins
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the records, bills, and content your HOA posts, and for having authority to act for your HOA.
- You must collect and use residents' personal information lawfully, in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and only for managing the community.
- Subscription fees, if any, are set out in your HOA's agreement with us.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that invades someone's privacy;
- upload malware, or files you do not have the right to share;
- try to access another person's account, another household's records, or another community's data;
- probe, overload, or disrupt the service, except when reporting a vulnerability as described on our Security page; or
- use the service to send spam or unrelated commercial messages.
We or your HOA may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You allow myhoamsph and your HOA to store, display, and process it as needed to run the portal for your community. Anything your board publishes is visible to the members of your community.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Availability and changes
We work to keep myhoamsph running and your data backed up, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may pause the service for maintenance and may improve or change features over time.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, myhoamsph is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for decisions or records made by your HOA, or for payments made outside the portal. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Ending your use
You may stop using myhoamsph at any time; ask your HOA to deactivate your account, or email us. Your HOA may end its use under its agreement with us. What happens to data afterward is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will post the new version here with a new date and notify HOAs before it takes effect. Continuing to use myhoamsph after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
